Brothers Services CEO John Martindale Featured As One Of SmartCEO
Magazine's "Leaders We Admire"
Brothers Services Company CEO John Martindale has been honored
in Baltimore SmartCEO's "Leaders We Admire" issue for
his ambition in growing Brothers Services Company into one of the
leading home improvement companies in the region.
The article, published in the May 2012 issue of SmartCEO magazine,
chronicles Martindale's history starting a small roofing company
in the 1980s, through his graduation from Loyola's Sellinger School
of Business, and culminating in the company's diversification into
other home improvement services including siding, windows, doors,
gutters and kitchen and bath remodeling.
The SmartCEO story explains the core of John Martindale and Brothers
Services Company's business philosophy:
To be great at what they do, employees at Brothers
Services adhere to a set of guiding principles that Martindale
says are based,
in part, on his faith in God. The Brothers Way, as the company
calls it, stipulates that its workers must "Treat each customer
like family and their property like your own," and to "Do
what you say you are going to do."
Published in the May 2012 issue of SmartCEO magazine, the publication
features business and community leaders including Kirby Fowler,
President of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore; Bonnie Phipps,
CEO of Saint Agnes Hospital; John Harbaugh, Head Coach of the Baltimore
Ravens; James Piper Bond, President of Living Classrooms Foundation;
William McCarthy, Jr., Executive Director of Catholic Charities
of Baltimore, and others.
