Marriott Family: Building the Dream Deck

When the Marriott family moved into their new home in Reisterstown, they had one home improvement project in mind—replacing their deck. At the time they moved in, they had two separate decks in poor condition. They wanted to remove the two current decks and replace them with one that ran the full length of the house. It was vital for them to revive the space, but they didn’t know how to make it possible.

Then the Marriott’s heard about Brothers Services’ strong reputation through a family connection and met with their sales consultant, Adam. Their initial vision included more outdoor living space that they could enjoy year-round. They also wanted to build a fire pit and have room for furniture from their old decks. Throughout the process, Brothers was able to respond to additional design requests to make the Marriott’s dream deck a reality. The project was flowing smoothly, but there was still one last obstacle to overcome.

Underneath their new deck, there was some pool equipment that couldn’t be moved. After hours of planning and designing, the Brothers team was able to come up with a solution that concealed the equipment and kept the aesthetics of the design intact.

When all was said and done, the homeowners were blown away by their beautiful new deck. They thought the communication throughout the process was phenomenal. They loved how the Brothers team was attentive to their design changes and came up with creative solutions while staying in their budget. Adam provided updates along the way, and the Brothers team met the target dates as promised.

Most nights of the year, you can find the Marriott family out on their deck, sipping wine by the fireplace and watching the sunset as their automatic lights brighten their beautiful backyard.
